The Shimano CS-M5100 is the suitable cassette for the new DEORE 11-speed group.

The distinctively designed HYPERGLIDE sprockets incorporate specially positioned shift ramps and tooth profiles for improved chain control during shifting. Fast and responsive indexed shifting is the result. The HG cassette sprocket, which was developed for 11-speed system, underwent comprehensive optimization to achieve super-highly efficient shifting.

Shimano Deore 11 Speed cassette (11-51T) M5100 with Deore Shifter & Deraileur.

I changed out my Shimano 11 speed from a 11-42T XT drivetrain group to a 11-51T Deore group because I wanted an even lower gear ratio to make my hill climbing that much easier. I was willing to sacrifice the change from XT to Deore hoping I wouldn't notice the minimal differences between the two groupset. The process to change out the chain, derailleur, cassette, and install the shifter took about 2 hours, but countless hours of YouTube (Park Tool is great!) video reviews to prepare me for the task and proper tools are a must. Haven't gone for a long ride yet, but so far the hill climbing is that much easier and I haven't noticed that the shifting is any less smooth or snappy. By the way, this was at a killer deal on TBS Bike Parts and the shipping was quick (within 2 days). I'd continue to buy parts from TBS.
